You are only admitted for the programme after successfully completing the steps below. Before you apply, please check the admission requirements.

1. Online application at the university

If you do not possess a Flemish degree you need to submit an application at your university of choice. The application procedure can be found at the following websites:

  • Students who require a visa must apply before April 1st.
  • Students who do not require a visa must apply before June 1st.

Please note: The sooner you apply, the more time you have to choose a project.

2. Application for the postgraduate programme

All incoming applications are assessed by an interuniversity committee. If your application has been accepted by the university, a selection interview will be organised to see if you are suited for the programme. During the interview, the main focus will be on: knowledge of the postgraduate, personal motivation, personal learning objectives and your interests.

We will also ask you to prepare a short assignment beforehand.

3. Search for an innovation project

After you've succesfully completed the university's selection procedure, your application will be provisionally approved.

At that moment, you will have to start looking for a project. You can:

  • use the internship database to search for one or more suitable innovation projects
  • propose an innovation project/interesting company yourself (we have built a large network over the years so we can definitely help you with this)

Because of the confidentiality of the submitted projects, you can only gain access to the internship database after your application has been provisionally approved.

4. Official enrolment

You can officially enrol in the Postgraduate Programme in Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Engineering if your application is approved, you meet the admission requirements and you have signed an agreement with your internship company. You need an official letter of acceptance from the programme coordinator to register.

You can find the tuition fee for the programme here.

5. Start programme

After your registration, the university will find a suitable coach for you. Along with your coach, you will compose your personal training programme (courses).
